Our Unique M.O.J.O Process
Process is the journey, not the destination. The M.O.J.O Process™ helps us manage our creative projects, harnessing our creative energy while maintaining efficiency and effective project management. Great ideas and solutions are not randomly realized by flipping through magazines for inspiration: they require meticulous planning and strategy. Each packaging project is as unique as an individual’s DNA or thumbprint, which means that we need to understand the context, market demand, consumer mindset and purchasing habits to communicate the brand effectively. That’s why each step of our process is crucial to the process and important for a successful result.
The M.O.J.O Process™
Mojo is an almost magical power, a charm and appeal that influences people to make a certain decision. At Mojo Red, we know how to craft that special effect that your packaging has on your customers, and to make your customers feel great about buying your product.
Our proprietary M.O.J.O Process™ lies at the heart of every packaging project in which we engage.
When we start a project, we mind map and brainstorm ideas. This is a fun, creative process that brings out the most interesting ideas and concepts for each project. A mind map is a diagram used to represent words, ideas, tasks, or other items linked to and arranged around a central key word or idea. Mind mapping helps us to generate, visualize, structure and classify our ideas, and make connections with the inspiration and opportunities.

We believe in observational learning because that’s the most important and instinctive way in which we learn. It’s how we learn as children — it’s how we discover things about the world. In his book, The Art of War, Sun Tzu says, “知己知彼,百戰不殆。" which means, "Understand both yourself and your enemy, and you can win a hundred battles without jeopardy." That’s why we enter every project with an in-depth knowledge of the market, the target customer segment, and the competitive landscape.

By combining creativity and market knowledge, we use our judgement — a combination of experience and expertise — to select the best ideas and refine them to create effective packaging solutions. The decisions we make and the judgement we exercise when making them are the result of measured deliberation and extensive experience. This is why we take a systematic approach to decision-making, using all the information available to us and discussing and examining the options in detail before selecting the best idea.

Just as some people stand out from the crowd, packaging has the potential to draw admiring glances, too. A consumer typically spends less than 10 seconds on each grocery category, and retail spaces are crowded with options and messages. It’s integral for your packaging to have instant shelf appeal in a sea of similarity. Our goal is unique, one-of-its-kind packaging that makes your brand stand out and create a measurable impact on the customer’s purchasing decisions — and ultimately benefits your business.
